Word or Phrase?

I've been researching different calligraphy styles lately and come across this beauty! Erin and I have been talking about putting some prints up in our shop so when I saw this it got me thinking...

If we were to do a type print would you want it to have a word or phrase?

Brush or Calligraphy?

As Erin mentioned we are creating a Wedding Line, and in the midst of that we are also trying out some new techniques.

I was recently taught by a friend how to use a calligraphy pen and ever since I have been obsessed! So Erin and I thought we would give it a try with some of the cards.

What do you think?

Valentine's Day Inspiration

Starting this week, Erin and I are going to start posting/sharing/writing more on here with hopes of showing you guys more of what we're made of!

Every Monday I will be sharing with you guys my projects/inspiration/design/lettering side of Golden Pines and every Wednesday Erin will be doing the same but from her Illustrator side. So here it goes!

Above is some inspiration that I had while working on the lettering/design for our Valentine's Day Collection. I was excited to be able to be extra feminine while making these cards because that tends to be the style I lean most towards in my own personal design. Erin and I wanted to put a little bit of a twist on the traditional Valentine's Day colors which is why we added coral and gold.
